Pet of the Week: Rosco

Rosco is a 2-year-old poodle and Labrador retriever who has been at the shelter for his forever home since November. He is an incredibly sweet pup and loves getting all the pets, scratches and lots of belly rubs. It’s a beloved goofball that will keep you entertained forever. He’s sure to bring lots of smiles and laughs to his new home. Rosco enjoys his daily walks and playing a good game of fetch. He also likes to play with toys. In fact, he’ll bring them right to you to let you know he’s ready to enjoy some playtime.

The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County Adoption Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. See all adoptable animals at TheHumaneSociety.org/adopt. Anyone interested in adopting can stop by the shelter at 2608 Center St., Tacoma. Currently, there are over 80 adoptable dogs, cats and critters waiting for their forever homes.

Not looking to adopt? The shelter always needs volunteers and foster families. There are tons of volunteer opportunities, including dog walking, cat socialization, rabbit enrichment, and more. For more information and to apply, visit the shelter’s website at TheHumaneSociety.org.
