The MALLING experience is now more enjoyable not only for “hoomans”, but also for dogs, as SM City Tarlac has opened its indoor Paw Park, a pet obstacle course for dogs for their essential exercise in as part of supervised socialization.
Located on the lower ground floor near the SM food court, the paw park features 5 dog agility obstacles including adjustable tire jump, agility rocker saw, A-frame, a dog walking ramp and an adjustable dog hedge.
Use of the park is free upon simple online registration. For the safety and comfort of all, the dog park’s etiquette and safety rules will be respected.
Owners who wish to bring their dogs for safe socialization and exercise should bring dogs at least 4 months old and be up to date with all necessary vaccinations. Aggressive, disruptive, in heat or sick dogs are not allowed. Owners can remove the dog leash inside the dog park and must be returned before leaving the park. Owners are also requested to clean and care for their own dogs inside and outside the dog park.
To practice social distancing, the number of people allowed inside the park will be limited to four at a time. Children under 12 are not allowed inside without an adult.
With the opening of these dog doors, “paw renters” can now expect a safe community space not only for themselves, but also for their fur babies. (RP)
