EWC Community Education Announces New Canine Obedience Class | Local

TORRINGTON – The Community Education Office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is announcing by popular demand a special Level I Canine Obedience Class session for SMALL DOGS ONLY. Small dogs are the ones that typically weigh less than 30 pounds as adults. Examples of small dogs would be the miniature dachshund, chihuahua, pomeranian, most toy breeds.

This course will take place on Mondays, from November 8 to December 13, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the common area of ​​the CTEC building. The cost for this class is $ 65. The day of the test will be Wednesday December 15th.

The first session of each class will be reserved for the owner / dog handler, no dog at this time. Please bring your leash so that you can learn your function in the training process.

Dog owners, in seven sessions you and your dog learn to come / here, sit, sit, stay, walk, wait, and good socialization.

Requirements: Current veterinary certificate for vaccinations: DHPP / RABIES / BORDATELLA; choke collar, 6ft leash, treats if you use them as a training tool. Participants must be able to control their dog on a leash before coming to class; participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at each lesson.
