Next week, the Lakeshore Humane Society will resume its opening hours on Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. at 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk. If an application is processed in advance, those interested in adopting can bring their new cat home; otherwise, adoptees can choose their cat and have it booked while a request is verified.
